On May 15, 2025, the Kazakhstan Association of Automation and Robotics (KAAR) marks its tenth anniversary. This is a significant milestone not only for the Association itself, but also for the entire robotics sector, which today plays an increasingly important role in the country's economy.
One of the landmark events of the X Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan was WorldSkills Industrial Robotics 2022, the industry championship of professional skills in the Integration of robotic systems discipline. It was held on September 22-23, 2022.
That was the slogan of the 10th Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, which took place in Astana on September 22-23, 2022.
The year 2022 has really challenged the Kazakhstan's industry, machine building and other major sectors of our country.
On September 23, 2021 the Kazakhstan Association of Automation and Robotics together with the Association of Kazakhstan Machinery Industry conducted the Round Table ‘Robotics: Decrease in Product Self-Cost at Labor Efficiency Growth in Your Enterprise’ that took place in the hybrid format within frames of the IX Kazakhstan Machinery Manufacturers Forum. Some speakers physically presented in the event, and some of them joined online.
In my opinion, employees of one or several state authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan are currently committing a crime against the People of Kazakhstan with the assistance of a number of business entities.
Almaty launched a free mobile application Darmen, which notifies users about emergencies and possible threats. The project was implemented by the Emergency Department of Almaty together with the Almaty Development Center and the Kazakh company I2NIK within the framework of the Smart Almaty concept.
On March 29-30, the V International Robotics Festival Roboland 2019 was held in Karaganda. By tradition, the festival included a round table among experts in the field of educational robotics, in which Vladimir Turekhanov, President of the Kazakhstan Association of Automation and Robotics, took part.
The XI All-Russian Festival of Robotics PROFEST 2019 was held in Moscow on March 20-22, in which Kazakh team from the specialized boarding school №1 for deaf children in Almaty won first place and received the right to represent the CIS countries at international competitions.
