Kazakhstan’s Association of Automation and Robotics has become the general sponsor of the Robotics Festival, within which the finals of the Republican Robotics Championship «KazRoboSport-2017» and the Contest of Scientific and Technical Projects «KazRoboProject-2017» will be held, as well as the Roundtable with experts.
13/9/2017 Association newsOn October 6-7, Kazakhstan’s largest Robotics Festival will be held in Aktobe, within the framework of which the finals of the Republican Robotics Championship «KazRoboSport-2017» and the final round of the Contest of Scientific and Technical Projects «KazRoboProject-2017» will be held, as well as the Roundtable with experts in the field of robotics from different CIS countries.
President of Kazakhstan’s Association of Automation and Robotics Vladimir Turekhanov: «The Republican Robotics Championship is held in Kazakhstan for the second year. There are results not only in the number of participants, but also in the level of professionalism of the announced projects. In order to implement one of the main activities of KAAR, which is the development of robotics in Kazakhstan, this year Kazakhstan’s Association of Automation and Robotics has become a member of the expert commission of youth competitions and projects and has become the general sponsor of Kazakhstan’s main event of the year.»
In the finals of the Robotics Championship 242 participants from all over Kazakhstan aged from 10 to 21 will gather, where winners in each category will be determined. The winners will receive prizes and the opportunity to participate in international championships as part of the national team.
At the same time with the Championship on October 6-7 the organizers will hold a round table and master classes with the participation of CIS experts in the field of educational robotics to discuss the development of robotics in education and share their experience in their countries. The applications for registration of participants of the Round table are accepted until August 31, 2017.
This event is held in order to popularize and develop robotics in various directions (sports, educational, research) in Kazakhstan, and also to reveal creative and technical potential among rising generation.
The organizer of the event is KazRobotics Federation. Thanks to the support of permanent partners of the event, including Kazakhstan’s Association of Automation and Robotics, participants and accompanying persons’ participation, travel, meals and accommodation are free of charge.
