On April 6, St. Petersburg hosted the annual Russian Internet Governance Forum RIGF-2018, in which the Kazakhstani Association of Automation and Robotics, the Internet Association of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh Network Information Center participated.
09/4/2018 Association newsOn April 6, the 9th Russian Internet Governance Forum RIGF-2018 took place, which brought together leading IT experts and specialists from the CIS countries, representatives of public authorities and public organizations. Kazakhstan was represented in the forum by Shavkat Sabirov from the Internet Association of Kazakhstan, Pavel Gusev from the Kazakh Network Information Center and Vladimir Turekhanov, the president of the Kazakhstani Association of Automation and Robotics.
The main topic of the forum was Cyber security in all aspects of its manifestation. The guests and speakers of the forum discussed the new challenges for information security that are now faced by society, and also shared new models of repelling various cyber threats, including the possibilities of using artificial intelligence to combat Internet attacks.
RIGF-2018 was closed with a business breakfast to celebrate birthday of .RU. Andrey Vorobyov, the director of the Coordination Center, congratulated the guests and speakers of the forum on the anniversary of the domain, and also cut the birthday cake and blew out the candles together with his colleagues.
