On September 20 the V Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan named «New Industrialization of Kazakhstan: High-Tech Mechanical Engineering» was opened. The President of the Kazakhstan’s Association of Automation and Robotics Vladimir Turekhanov takes part in the forum.
11/12/2017 Kazakhstan news800 delegates from 40 countries of the world gathered at the anniversary forum in the new format, according to Meiram Pshembaev – the Chairman of the Union of Machine builders of Kazakhstan, the Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within two days, the Hilton Garden Hotel will hold sectional meetings in the following areas: oil and gas engineering, machine building for the mining and metallurgical industry, motor car construction, agricultural machinery, railway, defense and electro-optic, and electrical engineering. There will be a detailed discussion of specific issues at these sections.
This year new sections such as engineering technologies of intersectoral industries, electronic optical engineering and Industry 4.0 have also been opened, where representatives of Kazakhstan’s Institute of Industry Development (KIID) and invited experts talk about new directions of development in connection with the beginning of the 4th industrial revolution.
Within the framework of oil and gas engineering industry section, the issues being discussed are increasing the volume of products supply and prospects of cooperation with international oil and gas engineering. The section of mining and metallurgical engineering is in the format of open discussion, where procurement plans for large MMC enterprises and leverage for the development of Kazakh content have become key issues.
Today, on September 21, an expanded plenary session is held at the «Kazmedia Ortalygy».
At the official opening of the Forum the Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Industrial Development and Safety of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Timur Nurashev, summed up the results of the engineering industry of Kazakhstan for the first half of this year.
Since the beginning of 2017 the output of machinery has increased by 6.3%. There is a significant growth in the production of cars – 4.7 times (9,678 cars), transformers – 2 times. The production of electrical equipment has exceeded KZT 63.8 billion. The volume of railway engineering production has increased to KZT 31.5 billion, agricultural machinery has amounted to KZT 6,959 million, machinery and equipment for the mining industry as well as oil refining and oil-extracting industry have reached KZT 8.2 billion and KZT 21.2 billion respectively.
New high-tech products such as locomotives, electric locomotives, passenger and freight cars, motor cars, which had never been produced in our country, have started being manufactured. As a result, more than 11 thousand jobs have been created.
