A schoolgirl from Kazakhstan, Lyubov Dudchenko, who became the best at the national contest of scientific and technical projects KazRoboProject-2018, won first place at the international innovation contest CASTIC-2018 in China (Chongqing).
23/8/2018 News / Kazakhstan newsOn August 14-20 the city of Chongqing (China) hosted the competition of scientific and technical innovations CASTIC-2018. Kazakhstani schoolgirl Lyubov Dudchenko won world recognition, after taking first place in the competition and being awarded two special nominations:
— a cash prize by the Foundation of the famous Chinese scientist Gao Shichi,
— a cash prize by the Sanray company of Chongqing City.
Previously Lyubov Dudchenko passed qualifying competitions and the finale of the national contest of scientific and technical projects KazRoboProject-2018, which was held in Astana in June this year. Lyubov introduced the project Oqup Ko'r for blind people, which is able to convert a text into Braille font.
Having successfully passed the republican contest in 2018, which was sponsored by Innovative Consulting Company INN.KK and Kazakhstani Federation of Educational and Sports Robotics "KazRobotiks", Lyubov also successfully conquered the international competition of innovations.
The China adolescents science & technology innovation contest (CASTIC)is an annual international competition of scientific and technical innovations among 13-16 year olds with scientific achievements. It was founded in 1985 and is one of the largest competitions held in China. Annually about 1000 young scientists from more than 20 countries of the world take part in the competition with scientific projects in 13 categories.
