Kazakhstan will hold a republican Championship on sport robotics «KazRoboSport-2016». Event was organized by the Kazakhstan Federation of Educational and Sport Robotics «KazRobotics!» with the support of the educational managements of regions of the country.

In fact it is the same sport competitions conducted under the same rules of the World Championships and the Olympic Games, only but robots controlled by humans compete in power, speed, stamina, agility and singularity of tricks execution instead of people. Here, as in the classic sports, there are excitement, team spirit, will to win and persistent regular «training».
Sport Robotics Championship in Kazakhstan will be held at the national level. In addition to the sporting interest and excitement organizers KazRoboSport-2016 persecuted and educational purposes - contestants (pupils and students aged 10 to 25 years old) should not just build a robot to win, but also give him the best, «athletic qualities». And it is impossible to do without some knowledge of electronics, mechanics, computer science and other exact sciences.
This year's championship is held in five «sports disciplines». Robots will be able to demonstrate their strength in the sumo ring, accuracy – in «kegelring», the speed display in the «race for the line» and «slalom». Of course, the championship of Kazakhstan will not do without the world's most popular sport – football as well. The main differences between classic and robo football are field size and number of players in the team. In robo football there are only two players: a goalkeeper robot and a robot-forward.
Participating teams composed of 2 people can claim their robots on one or several sports fields.
KazRoboSport will take place in two periods: the qualifying period in regions of the country, which will start in the second quarter of 2016, and the republican, which will bring together the strongest teams - representatives of their region / oblast. Championship Final will be held in the city of Aktobe on September 23-25. The winners will get not only the title of Champions of Kazakhstan on sport robotics, but also will become a part of Kazakhstan national team to represent our country at major international championships. «KazRobotics» plans to declare Kazakhstan in major competitions in robotics such as: Asia Pacific ABU Robocon, the World Football Championship among robots RoboCup, and take part in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), in which, Kazakhstan was already been presented in 2014 and among many countries took the third place on podium.
